Organics…2 buy or not 2 buy?

This list is based on 4 key issues: pesticides, antibiotics, nutrition and taste….

Fruits:

these fruits are easy for pesticides to penetrates, so these you should buy organic…

Apples

Pears

Grapes

Raspberries

Peaches

Strawberries

Cherries

nectarines

Vegetables:

These vegetables soak up more chemicals then most, so buy organic versions:

Sweet Corn

Celery (bunch)

Bell Peppers

Meats:

If you have an adversion to antibiotics in your foods (who wouldn’t?)  These meats on average have more antibiotics then the organic versions…if you are pregnant or just introducing a baby to meat…organic is the way to go!

Ground beef

Pork

Chicken

Dairy:

Organic Dairy has 5x’s conjugated linoleic acid, which helps weight loss, compared to regular pasturized milk, and no antibiotics.

Yogurt

Cheese

Milk

This list doesn’t matter if it’s organic or not, they dont soak up enough pesticides or retain antibiotics.  The Organic label is just to get a higher price for the item:
